Drumming ~ With Sam & Keti

‘Rhythmic Essence’ is a dynamic duo of bellydance choreographer and cultural researcher Keti Sharif & Arab/Latin Percussionist and researcher Sam Nascimento. Recently returned from an intensive Rhythmic study tour of Egypt, where Sam’s family hails from, and where Keti lived for 20 years, they have gathered dozens of traditional, rare and unique Arabic Rhythms. Their aim is to bring the cultural dances, darbuka rhythms and finger cymbal patterns to dancers interested in Arabic and fusion dance, to enrich their own practice and expand their rhythmic vocabulary.
