Tribal Jam

Come down to the MataHari Studio and let you hair down with your tribal friends. 

No matter what your discipline, whether you swing with Egyptian, Turkish, Bellydance, American Tribal Style, Fat Chance, Gypsy Caravan or Elysium Gothic style, it's all about jamming in a big group and enjoying the experience of losing yourself in the love of the tribe.

We use a cue-and-response improvised format, so the leader just gets out the front, cues a move or combo and the dancers just follow. It's relaxing, follow-the-leader dancing and a great format for those who have difficulty with choreography, or just like being able to boogie with anyone, anywhere, anytime!

There's a $5 entry fee (Pay at door) and we just jam all night!
Bring your zills, drum and a small plate of food to share!
